CONSULTING SERVICES OVERVIEW

Workflow Ready's Consulting Services organization applies a proven consulting methodology based on the ADDIE model - Analysis • Design • Development • Implementation • Evaluation. We have adapted the five stages of ADDIE into our own five-stage process articulated below. This model employs industry-standard best practices essential to achieving the client's business objectives, including:

  • Collaborative participation between the client and Workflow Ready consultants at every stage to ensure faithful adherence to client business objectives.
  • Detailed, customized surveys to capture the appropriate level of detail concerning the client's implementation processes.
  • Clear, detailed, and documented metrics applied at every stage of the project cycle to establish and enforce quality standards.
  • An iterative development and review cycle which enables clients to have complete visibility into project process and status.
  • Development of assessment metrics which are reflected in a customized and detailed Service Level Agreement to ensure that ongoing support is specific, relevant, and timely.
  • A complete Return On Investment evaluation at the end of the project to provide metrics for assessing success 1, 3, 6, 12 months after project completion, including post-project Health Status Checks.

Our consulting methodology consists of five sequential phases:

  1. Analyze client business objectives: As with all stages of the Workflow Ready consulting process, the key ingredient for success in this stage is full collaboration between the client and Workflow Ready consultants to assess specific client needs. Stages include:.
    • Detailed, customized Needs Analysis Survey to inventory customer processes.
    • Joint client/Workflow Ready review of the Needs Analysis Survey to prioritize and rate areas which need performance improvement.
    • Deliverable: Needs Analysis Report.
  2. Design the solution based on the Needs Analysis Report: Based on clear identification of specific needs in the Needs Analysis Report stage, Workflow Ready consultants and client staff jointly design the optimal solution. Stages include:.
    • Review each element in the Needs Analysis Report to assess the appropriate improvement strategy - Training, Custom Documentation, Team Building, Knowledge Management Revision, Building a World-Class Help Desk, Productivity Tools.
    • Map each element in the Needs Analysis Report to a step-by-step specific improvement processes.
    • Establish a timetable for implementation with specific roles and responsibilities for both client and Workflow Ready staff.
    • Develop a detailed Quality Assurance Plan with specific, measurable roles for both client and Workflow Ready staff.
    • Develop a detailed Support Implementation Plan with first- and second-level support roles and responsibilities defined both client and Workflow Ready staff. A project-specific Support Knowledge Base will be delivered in the Implementation phase to provide the structured knowledge to implement quality support.
    • Deliverables: Performance Improvement Project Plan
  3. Develop the solution based on the Performance Improvement Project Plan: Based on clear identification of specific needs in the Needs Analysis Report stage, Workflow Ready consultants and client staff jointly design the optimal solution. Stages include:.
    • Kickoff meeting with client and Workflow Ready deployment teams to articulate project goal and success criteria.
    • Create Statement of Work with task-by-task detailed steps, team assignments, schedules, success criteria, QA procedures.
    • Define usability tests including representatives of target user audience.
    • Deliverable: Statement of Work
  4. Implement the Statement of Work: Project execution is focused and efficient based on the detailed groundwork built in the Analysis and Design/Development phases. These goals and criteria then guide the structured breakout sessions that follow. This series of meetings gives us the information to define and fully document the project with a detailed project plan and completion criteria.
    • the Workflow Ready team works at the client site as necessary to ensure complete collaboration with client business objectives.
    • Implementation activities with frequent milestone reviews to assess compliance with project schedule and success criteria.
    • Client staff is trained in all aspects of each project solution to ensure complete client control of all operational and maintenance activities.
    • Usability tests validation in first project implementation stage to validate usability test results in Develop phase.
    • Final pre-delivery milestone is Preparatory Review which performs a complete QA review of all project activities to allow final adjustments prior to project delivery to guarantee compliance with success criteria.
    • Deliverables: 1. All project 2. Project-specific Support Knowledge Base 3. Performance Improvement Plan Delivery Report.
  5. Evaluate all project deliverables against success criteria: As success criteria have been assessed at each phase of the project cycle, the foundation has been built to ensure project deliverables which meet client success criteria.
    • the ROI Report will feature a Lessons Learned section which will be utilized in planning for the next project.
    • the ROI Report will include metrics to assess financial return on investment per time periods established by the customer - 3, 6, 12 months, and longer.
